These groggers were created by the 7th grade girls at HANC. Using Mod Podge, they collaged the tins with ribbons, cut up magazine, rhinstones, buttons and anything else they could think of! They came out beautifully, and each one felt uniquely theirs. Once they were dry, we added corn kernels to the inside, and shook away for some rattling noises sure to drown out Haman’s name ( and give one a headache too…)
What I love about this project is that they get to use it for noisemaking on Purim, and then transform it into lovely little jewlery box afterwards. Very fun.
What a fantastic idea! Purim Sameach and thanks so much for sharing on Craft Schooling Sunday!
Thanks, Sara! I always get great ideas from your site, and it is fun sharing them.
Happy Purim!
