Jewish Book Carnival-March

Welcome back to the Jewish book carnival! I am so pleased to be the host once more. Let’s get right to the show with some great links:

 

-At the Whole Megillah, Barbara Krasner  interviews  Louise Borden, author of the Sydney Taylor Book Award for Older Readers, His Name Was Raoul Wallenberg. She’s getting wondreful feedback on the interview–folks are saying its the most interesting one they’ve ever read.

 

–The Book of Life, features an interview with Kathy Kacer, author of We Are Their Voice.

-Check out: People of the Books! Just scroll  through February 2013 posts to read interviews with the winners of the Sydney Taylor Book Award.

 

-Erika Dreifus at  My Machberet serves up great tips for publicizing Jewish books and reflections on the 2013 Sami Rohr Prize finalist titles.

-Jonathan Kirsch reviews of ANTI-JUDAISM by David Nirenberg. It originally appeared in the Jewish Journal.
-Jewish Book Council has insights on the Haggadah, and info about an interesting author contest.

 

–Life is like a Library has highlights of Kathe Pinchuk’s visit to the Jerusalem International Book Fair, including panels with Chief Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks and acclaimed author Naomi Alderman.

 

-At Lori M writings, you can read a review of  The Conversation:  A Novel, by Joshua Golding and The Provider, by Evelyn R. Marshall.

 

-Cynthia Polansky shared an interesting interview. 

-Barbara Bietz has an interview with her friend Michelle  Markel here.
