  1. Our family LOVES eating the homemade challah that we make each week.

My husband’s family names all of their dogs after Jewish foods. They have/had a Schnitzel, Kichel, Mandel, Matzah Ball and more. Surprisingly, no Kugel though. I’ll have to suggest it next time around.

  2. My (and my 3 year old’s) favorite Shabbat food is kneidelach! We look forward to the warm squishy matza balls every week. Perhaps Kayla and Kugel need a friend by the name of Kneidel, hint hint:)

  3. Always on the look out for new quality Jewish themed books. I think my children would enjoy this book.

  4. Our favorite Shabbat food is chicken! My daughters would surely love this book, thank you for your wonderful books and illustrations.

  5. I just love reading to my preschool and Sunday school classes. They love to learn through the books I read! What a wonderful Mitzvah- the love of books!

  6. My favorite Shabbos food is absolutely potato kugel. My entire family feels the same way. I love the name kugel for Kayla’s dog.. What a great series idea. I’m looking forward to sending a link to my Sil to enjoy with her daughter, Kayla.

  7. Definitely an awesome chulent and potato kugel combo!
I’d love to have this book to share with my classes!

  8. Yapchik (potato kugel cooked with meat) is my favorite Shabbat food that I discovered as an adult. It’s one better than my previous favorite of potato kugel.

  9. I was in the hospital when this came out. Many holidays have passed since. Just catching up on older email. I love sending my granddaughters your pictures to color for the holidays. Just printed the Thanksgiving one. I’d love to have a book to send them. I know it’s almost Hanukkah time but any free book would be appreciated. You bring great joy to many. Roxanne Croft
