  1. Of course, I would like more kids book reviews. Toy reviews are a nice idea too.
    Happy Chanuka!

  2. I jump for joy spending time with my family. My children are in college and grad school now, but when they still want to spend family time it makes my day.

  3. I jump for joy with my precious son and the little guy in my tummy. Family means everything to me.

  4. I jump for joy every Friday night, when I pass around pieces of my fresh baked challah, and my children tell me, “Ima, it is even better this week!”

For the life of me, I never know if the batch will come out well or not!

  5. I am a Jewish Preschool educator, so I would love to see book reviews from you for me to share with my students. My 3-4 yr. olds love when I read to them, and the more I animate the story, the better. They even enjoy repeative books that let them help me with the storyline. Thank you for all you do!

  6. I jump for joy when I receive great report cards from my kids’ schools…helps soothe the pain of paying tuition 😉
Would love to see more kids crafts…I use them for Hebrew school projects.

    Happy Chanukah

  7. I jump for joy from music I’ve grown up with including Jewish and secular. Music is an art form that touches the soul. I alo like art and love the kids crafts. There is always something for everyone in your work. Thank you for sharing your talent and Happy Chanukah !

  8. Ann, I think it would be interesting if you reviewed the illustrations in kids books. As an artist, you’re in a great position to do that. I don’t think I’ve ever seen reviews that focus mainly on the illustrations and I think that would be unique and helpful. Another thought: interviews with illustrators!

  9. I jump for joy when I see the crafts my kids come up with on their own!
I’d love to see more craft ideas we can do at home with our kids – especially for the younger ones.

  10. I jump for joy every time I am with my granddaughters, who live out of town. We don’t get to visit that often, so whenever they come to West Hempstead, or we are able to visit them, it is a super special occasion. We love to Skype also, but there is nothing as great as actually being with them and holding them while they squeeze you and tell you, “I love you, Bubbie.”

I really appreciate your reviews of children’s crafts and books, would like to see more of them.

  11. Thanks Shoshana. So interesting that I am getting suggestions for the book reviews…I have done them before, but I never got any comments so I always assumed it wasn’t of interest. But I guess it is–cool! This will allow me to get more free books 🙂

  12. My grandchildren are what make me jump for joy! In fact, there are days when I just don’t think I would even get out of bed if not for them. I praise YHVH for them everyday! I love the crafts that you share on your blog and would love to see more ways to share Gods love with little ones…Hebrew ways–I live in a small town there is no Hebrew school–and the way we live is different from most

  13. I love your coloring pages for kids! My kids always get excited when we print out the new page for the upcoming chag.

  14. Hi Ann,
Happy Hanukkah! I jump for joy when I get to chat with writers, artists, librarians and book lovers who are passionate about children’s literature. I would love to learn more about your artistic process – and maybe even a few lessons for non-astists? I would love that! All best- Barbara B

  15. I jump for joy when my extended family gets together; when I get to see my aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents! Even though they only live a 5 hour drive away, it’s such a blast when we all get together! 😉

  16. And the winner of the jumping cow is…drumroll,,,Melissa! Hope you and your forthcoming little person enjoy it.
    🙂
